Lauryl Glucoside is well suited for laundry applications, where micellar solubilization, emulsification, and detergency are required. These alkyl polyglycoside surfactants function as conventional non-ionic surfactants but are easy to formulate because they do not exhibit a gel phase upon dilution. This product is soluble and stable in liquid formulations containing a high level of builder and electrolytes. Unlike typical nonionic, Lauryl Glucoside is highly soluble in concentrated electrolyte solutions and will hydrotrope other less soluble ingredients. In addition, Lauryl Glucoside is made from renewable raw materials, ex, glucose derived from corn, and fatty alcohols from coconut and palm kernel oils. Due to its natural chemistry, Lauryl Glucoside is very mild and readily biodegradable.
