Lauryl Glucoside is well suited for laundry applications, where micellar solubilization, emulsification, and detergency are required. These alkyl polyglycoside surfactants function as conventional non-ionic surfactants but are easy to formulate because they do not exhibit a gel phase upon dilution. This product is soluble and stable in liquid formulations containing a high level of builder and electrolytes. Unlike typical nonionic, Lauryl Glucoside is highly soluble in concentrated electrolyte solutions and will hydrotrope other less soluble ingredients.
